Bivouac and BrumVenture have been key Scout section events for many years and today we are excited to launch the 2022 dates with both events returning face to face!
BrumVenture 2022: This will be run over the weekend of Friday 7th – Sunday 9th October 2022 at Pikes Pool with a wide range of badges on offer including: Angler, Chef, Communicator, Craft, Cyclist, Emergency Aid Stage 4, Forester, Master At Arms Archery, Master At Arms Rifles, Mechanic, Navigator, Photographer and Scientist.
This year also marks the 15th anniversary of the event which we will be celebrating over the course of the weekend. Scouts and Young Leaders interested in being at the event can register using the link below.
Applications will close on Friday 6th May 2022. A ballot will then take place to allocate the badges and each participant will receive notification of their badge place by the beginning of June.
Bivouac 2022 will consist of Bivouac Experience at Pikes Pool the weekend of 8th – 10th July 2022. In order to participate in the event, you will need to –
- Be a Scout or Explorer Scout
- Have camped at least 3 nights outdoors
- Be comfortable sleeping outside under a tarp with minimal light

Places will be limited, and everyone will be chosen from a ballot on the 1st May 2022. You will be contacted after this date to confirm whether or not you have got a place, and then additional details and payment will be requested for those that have been successful.
