We have just held our last event for 2020 and are now getting ready to plan our 2021 event programme. We hope that you have found them fun, active and engaging and that in this very challenging year they have provided a great chance for our Young People to experience some Scouting. Even though we may be back to face to face Scouting we are planning to put on a range of virtual events until we can go fully back to ‘mass gatherings’ so please look out for details of these in the New Year and we hope you are able to support these as you have done in 2020.
One of the core values of Scouting is that we look to make an impact in our communities. What better way to do this than supporting a local charity that supports the amazing work of some good causes right here in Birmingham. Rather than charging for our online county events in 2020, we have been asking our members to donate to local charity LoveBrum. This can be a personal donation, or maybe your section/group can work together to raise some funds to donate.
Either way, it would be amazing if as a county we can help some excellent local causes at this tough time. We will be closing donations at the end of 2020 so please support us if you are able to do so.
As this concludes our iJam Festival 2020 we look forward to seeing your son/daughter in one of our 2021 events.
