Some groups have already taken part in the More in Common badge activity. If you have already completed this badge, please upload a photo of your More in Common badge and this will count for the activity.
Many of you will have taken part in the ShireHike activity, a joint activity between several Scout counties in the West Midlands. Well we thought that it was such a fabulous resource of hikes and walks that we would keep the challenge going and incorporate into our 20 in 21 challenge.
When you complete a walk as part of 20 in 21, you can upload your photos using the 20 in 21 evidence submission page.
The aim of the hikes challenge to encourage you to get out and about and to explore new areas. Therefore, please don’t upload evidence from walks you have already done. You can use those walks again, but please go out and redo them – it will be great to see them in a different season!
We have also created a site for you to upload your favourite hikes to. Simply follow the guidance and then submit and they will then be considered for inclusion in our library of hikes.
One of the core values of Scouting is that we look to make an impact in our communities. We’d like to continue as we did in 2020 to support a local charity that supports good causes right here in Birmingham. So for 2021 we’d like to ask members to donate to LoveBrum and continue the fundraising for this amazing charity in these tough times.
